Ingredients:
2lbs ground Bison
¼ cup Dijon Mustard
¼ cup gluten free BBQ Sauce
1t Season-All
2T Worcestershire Sauce
Black pepper
Pre Cooked Basmati White Rice
Pico de Gallo
Directions:
This is the best food to eat after a workout. You get a mix of protein and healthy carbs. Mix ground Bison with all the ingredients, mustard, BBQ sauce, Season-All, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, (leaving the rice and Pico de Gallo aside to assemble at the end) until thoroughly combined. The texture of the meat will be slightly sticky. Shape meat into 4-6 patties. Grill on BBQ or in a skillet until done. Bison meat isn't pink when you cook it, so touch the patty and when it feels a bit springy, it's done.
Break the burger into bite size chunks and serve over warm white basmati rice (about 1/4 cup of rice) mixed with 1/2 cup shredded spring mixed greens. Top with fresh Pico de Gallo.
