Ingredients:
15 chicken drumsticks
2T Sesame oil
1 Cup low sodium Tamari
1 ½ cup water
1T fish sauce
2 T rice wine vinegar
1 cup brown sugar (use 3 Tbsp maple syrup for low sugar option)
8 cloves garlic chopped fine
2 T ginger chopped fine or grated
1t red pepper flakes
Slurry:
4T cornstarch
4T water
Sesame seeds
Green onion
High protein, low carb, low fat food. Marinade chicken for 2 hours prior to cooking. Set Instant pot to 13 minutes or setting for chicken and then put marinated chicken in and start. When done cooking, place chicken on parchment paper on a cookie sheet and broil 2 minutes on each side. Save the sauce in the instant pot. Add Slurry to the remaining sauce and stir. Pour over chicken and garnish with sesame seeds and green onion.
Serve with vegetables (rice-optional)
