Celery juice-cleanse for weight loss

Ingredients:



One whole bunch of celery


Celery juice cleanse helps detoxify the body and contributes to weight loss. Cut 1/4 inch off the tips and 1/2 inch off the bottom end of the celery bunch.  Separate and wash each piece of celery in cold water.  Run each stalk through the juicer and pour the collected juice into a 16oz glass and drink immediately.  

Makes: 1-12oz to 16oz glass


Tips: 

Servings are approximate due to the size of the bunch. Celery is an herb and its juice has anti-viral properties promoting a strong immune system.  It is most potent when consumed immediately after juicing it. For best results, consume it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Wait 15-20 minutes before eating or drinking anything else.  This allows it to absorb into your system without being diluted. It can be frozen but it will lose some of its potency.


Note:

Use a cold pressed, masticating juicer for best juice volume and nutrient retention.
