Best smoothies for weight loss-Green Smoothie

Ingredients:


  • 3 Fuji apples with skin on
  • 2 pears with skin on
  • 1 lemon with skin on
  • 24oz filtered water
  • 5 leaves Romaine lettuce
  • 3-4 leaves of Spear Kale


This is the best green smoothie for weight loss. Wash all ingredients with cold water.  Cut seeds out of apples and pears and cut them into slices leaving the skin on for easier blending.  Slice the lemon into quarters and leave the skin on. Slice lettuce and kale into manageable size pieces. Blend ingredients until smooth.  For a sweeter drink,  you can add more apples to taste.  The drink will be very green!  Makes 64oz or 8 cups. 1 serving is 16oz.


Tips:

Use a high speed, high quality blender such as a Vitamix or Blendtec for smoother consistency.


Note:

Blending retains all the fiber for slower digestion and slower sugar absorption assisting in weight loss. It stays in your intestines longer keeping you hydrated for a longer period of time.
